| Allmallutx is the name of a Majorcan country house located in one of the most marvellous and impressive places of the Sierra de Tramuntana, spine of the most mountainous area of the island of Majorca. In the lands of this estate there is a little village and sanctuary of the prehistoric era; due to its strategic situation they guessed it to be a magical enclave with a great mystery and legend. For the magical beauty of the place and the parallelism with the legend and mystery that has traditionally wrapped our hold dog, reaching mythical characters, we decided to call our dog Almallutx. We began to use the affix Almallutx in 1992 , but years before my wife Pilar and me got already involved in canine shows. At the beginning we took up Mastín del Pirineo (and we keep on doing), a breed we greatly enjoy. But it is in 1992 when we started out on the Ca de Bou breed with our first female dog, Pandora, the winner of the Spanish Championship. It was with her, with her excellent character, vigilant and guardian when it was needed, affectionate and patient with our family, when we fell in love with the breed, throwing ourselves heart and soul into the project. For Pandora, who is not with us yet, we owe you the love we feel for the Ca de Bou breed. You will be that flame, I sincerely doubt, could ever be extinguished and that will shine with its own light inside everyone like us who ever had a Ca de Bou as a friend. | |||||||
